In 1993 Paul Rodgers, legendary vocalist of Free and Bad Company,  released his tribute album to the legendary blues guitarist Muddy Waters  entitled “Muddy Water Blues: A Tribute to Muddy Waters”. The album features many other artists including guitarists Neal Schon, from Journey and Santana, and Trevor Rabin, former guitarist of legendary prog-rock band Yes.

This is a beautiful rare recording from an acoustic session in a Us Radio on the same year, which included a version of “Hey Joe” by Billy Roberts (the most well-know version is from Jimi Hendrix) and featuring both guitarists on acoustic guitar.

Good listening…
